Today I finally show you something I made inspired by the third book my husband gave me as a present. It's Carla Sonheims new book 'Drawing and painting Imaginary Animals'! As you might know, I'm a big fan of Carla! So I was thrilled to hear her new book was finally for sale. The book really is great fun! Yesterday and today as well I was working on a imaginary washitape creature. Loved doing this, and I kinda like the result.
I also made a stamp. (I'm sorry, but I can't help it... I just can't stop it... Even in bed, when I'm supposed to sleep I'm still thinking of stamps. I see stamps everywhere!)
This time I made this fish from Geninne Zlatkis book.
And... I made something with this stamp! A small brooch. Stamped the fish on t-shirt transfer paper, ironed it on felt and than all it needed was a needle and some thread.
Far from perfect, but cute anyway. And of course it's something different than a card.
Tot morgen!
See you tomorrow!
